Oil on acrylic 24 by 20 inches Completed on 1 November 2024 The composition is borrowed from Manet's Plum Brandy (1877). I wanted to do a similar picture of a young woman and my model, posing in the main dining room of the Henry House Pub in Halifax, caught the vibe perfectly.
